Why You Should Take Care of Your Organic Certification Now
More Benefits for You with Our Framework Agreement with GfRS
Do you offer at least one organic wine in your range? In this case, you are obligated to get certified according to the EU Organic Regulation. Thanks to our partner, the Society for Resource Protection (GfRS), this process is particularly easy, unbureaucratic, and cost-effective for you.
More and more producers are switching to organic farming, which is increasing the supply of organic wines and making them increasingly sought after by wine lovers. However, many wine merchants are not aware that certification according to the EU Organic Regulation is required for sales. Otherwise, hefty fines are imminent. But there is a solution.
With the Society for Resource Protection, we provide you with a partner who enables you to save between 15 and 40 percent compared to competitors on organic certification through the exclusive framework agreement at wein.plus. This way, you don't have to worry about warnings or fine notices. This exclusive offer is aimed at Business Premium Members and saves you valuable time in dealing with bureaucratic procedures.
The costs for organic certification are independent of your sales with organic products. Everyone pays the same price: As of January 1, 2023, the organic certification of your online wine retail through our framework agreement with GfRS is 310.00 euros net. This amount already includes travel costs when adhering to the agreed dates. In addition, there is a telephone flat rate of 12.50 euros and a fee for sampling of 28.80 euros. However, all our Premium Members receive a credit of 20.00 euros for submitting the SEPA direct debit mandate. The conditions remain unchanged for 2025.
