Toni Askitis and wein.plus agree on long-term cooperation

Cooperation in the production of videos on Instagram, in the use of editorial content as well as the wide-reaching wein.plus newsletter.

The European wine platform wein.plus and Toni Askitis have agreed on a long-term cooperation. The sommelier, moderator and social media professional from Düsseldorf will produce two videos a month for the Instagram channel #wein.plus in cooperation with the wein.plus editorial team. With his approach "wine is uncomplicated", he will teach beginners the necessary basic knowledge about wine and wine enjoyment in a casual way. For this purpose, Askitis will use the editorial content of the "Beginner's Knowledge" section on wein.plus. Furthermore, he will present a monthly question and answer format on #weinplus and will appear as a speaker at the wein.plus conference in 2022.

In return, wein.plus will present Toni Askitis' work with editorial contributions, on social media as well as in the newsletter, which is one of the widest-reaching in the European wine industry. In addition, further joint projects are being planned.

Toni Askitis is one of the most important wine personalities in Germany. He studied business administration, completed a sommelier training at the German Wine and Sommelier School in Koblenz and was the owner of the D'VINE restaurant & wine bar in Düsseldorf.
